Following on from the latest government advice, CMC are further implementing procedures to best practically work through the current and most up to date advice.

Using common sense, all representatives have been asked to keep customer contact to a minimum and only visiting farm if completely necessary or urgent. E mail and telephone communication is as normal and encouraged.

Drivers have also been told to limit customer contact when delivering and will be restricted to very minimal contact when loading at the mill. We ask that the delivery point be clear, safe and ready to receive the delivery. Please respect their situation when delivering and we are encouraging them to be in their cabs as much as possible when on farm and at mill. Again, telephone communication will be the main contingency for information regarding the delivery.

We will be operating a streamline office shift for essential office staff to ensure responsible distancing and to keep communications working in the long term. We would appreciate your patience if the phone is not answered in good time. You can e mail orders to cmc@creditonmilling.co.uk or leave a message on the answer phone if required. We would appreciate at least 2 days’ notice for all orders at this stage. This may have to be further extended in time as the situation unfolds.

Our mill and site staff have been given distancing procedures and all canteens and refreshment areas stopped and closed. Again, we will be implementing a streamline working pattern to ensure continuity of operation in the long term.

Thankfully the mill renovation following a fire incident in June 2019 was completed at the beginning of March.
