Gary has been a renowned feed specialist since the mid 90's. Well known throughout Somerset and the surrounding areas, he is well regarded not only for his knowledge, but also the positive attitude and cheery demeanour he brings on every farm visit.

He has been immersed in farming all his life, so he has the advantage of understanding the industry from both sides of the fence. The family has a mixed dairy, arable and beef farm with the emphasis being firmly on dairy, having installed robotic milkers in 2013.

After agricultural college and working on his grandfather's farm, Gary started up his own business hauling primarily grain and straights in and out of farms, docks, and mills. Seven years later at the age of 28, after being diagnosed with diabetes, Gary lost his HGV licence which prompted a change of direction, and he hasn't looked back since.

In his spare time, Gary enjoys travelling with his wife Maria and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoys building and has recently built their new family home, as well as collecting classic and vintage tractors, with over 50 in the collection to date.
