Mark Causey
Mark brings a wealth of experience to our ruminant specialist team, having started his career as a trainee representative with Pauls Agriculture at Lords Meadow, Crediton. Now, with years of industry knowledge behind him, Mark remains based in Crediton, supporting farmers across the Southwest with practical, results-focused advice.
Alongside his technical role, Mark and his family run a small farm in South Devon, managed by his wife Janet and supported by their son Daniel. This close connection to daily farm life keeps Mark grounded in the realities of livestock farming and the problems that can occur.
Mark’s focus is on long-term herd health and profitable milk production. He believes that sustainable farming success comes from a combination of sound management, reliable support, and a strong team working towards shared goals. His ambition is to help farmers build profitable, resilient businesses that support a sustainable lifestyle for both them and future generations.
A firm believer in lifelong learning, Mark lives by the motto:
"Every day is a school day."
He understands that while the industry continues to evolve, core values remain unchanged and farmers still want quality service, trusted advice, and real value for money.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys time with his family on the farm — and has a well-known sweet tooth, often evidenced by a few chocolate wrappers in his vehicle!
