Mark Causey
ruminant specialist
Tel :
Mark’s career began as a trainee rep for Pauls Agriculture at Lords Meadow, Crediton. Now, older and wiser, he’s still in Crediton as part of our ruminant technical team.
Mark has a small farm in South Devon which is managed by his wife Janet, ably assisted by their son Daniel, and these three things take up most of his spare time. Mark has a very sweet tooth and you’ll often find chocolate wrappers in his footwell.
"Every day is a school day" is one of the rules Mark lives by. Mark says:
Once we stop learning, we should pack up and go home. Much has changed over the years, but equally much has stayed the same. Farmers still want value for money and quality of service.
Mark’s ambition is to help farmers in the South West to make enough profit to create a sustainable lifestyle for themselves and their families. His focus is on long term herd health and profitable milk production. He believes this hinges on good farming, coupled with sound advice and creating a team of people to help achieve both the management goals of the business, and the personal goals of the farmer.
