Karen joined the CMC Technical Team as our Ruminant Nutritionist in 2018. Karen was brought up on a small, family-run farm in Devon and has always been incredibly passionate about agriculture and the countryside.
John Cann

John brought his considerable dairy expertise to CMC in 2015, immediately becoming a key part of our ruminant technical team.
Matt Rance

Matt is responsible for Legislation, Trading Standards and Product Compliance and Assurance. He is also the technical manager of our forage services team and part of our ruminant technical team.
Mark Causey

Mark’s career began as a trainee rep for Pauls Agriculture at Lords Meadow, Crediton. Now, older and wiser, he’s still in Crediton as part of our ruminant technical team.
Gary Pulsford

Gary has been a renowned feed specialist since the mid 90's. Well known throughout Somerset and the surrounding areas, he is well regarded not only for his knowledge, but also the positive attitude and cheery demeanour he brings on every farm visit.
Matt Holmes

Matt comes from a family with a history in farming and forestry and lives in South Devon. He prides himself on being a friendly and approachable person, always keen to help and provide quality advice to drive farming businesses forward.
Ed Redman

Ed joined CMC in March 2021 following ten years of varied experience in the feed industry, working in both transport and sales.
Phil Stoneman

Phil began his career as a herd manager before moving into the feed industry and arriving at CMC in 2010. Phil has a huge wealth of experience and particularly enjoys working with family farms throughout the generations. His knowledge of South-west farms is second to none, you’ll rarely see him requiring a map.

Sarah is a Ruminant Feed Specialists and a member of our Dairy Focus Team, covering the Southwest providing essential services to our customers and backup to our ruminant team.
Pete Davis

Pete Davis joined as our first ruminant nutritionist and the original member of the CMC technical team. Brought up on a large dairy, arable and beef unit in Hertfordshire, he has 30 years of experience, including managing dairy herds and farms across the country from Middlesex to Yorkshire. Nutritional and Management Consultancy has dominated the last 16 years, which also included running a large animal vet practice.
Graham Dodd

Graham Dodd is our Commercial Manager and is responsible for formulations, mill products and blends. He’s always happy to discuss feed commodity markets and help with any thoughts you have on future prices and contracts.
Steve Chapman

In 2012 Steve founded his own company, SC Nutrition. His aim is to provide a cutting edge and thorough approach to a manageable number of farms in Cornwall, paying particular focus to the effect nutrition can have on cow comfort.
Trevor Bedford

Trevor joined team CMC in his early twenties. Now in his sixties, Trevor hopes to finally make his fortune by selling the secret to his Peter Pan looks.

Russell Crang

Russell is an important member of our management team and leads our poultry sector. His knowledge of poultry stems back over 30 years, and he is a substantial poultry grower himself.
Will White

Will is an integral part of our poultry team, with a broad knowledge of the feed industry. He has an industrious character who becomes deeply involved in his customers’ enterprises. He is also a free-range egg producer in his own right; working with his wife, Millie, to manage 9,000 Clarence Court hens on the home farm. Will won the prestigious award of ‘Young Poultry Person of the Year 2022’.
Gwenda Wozencraft

Gwenda has farming at her roots and absolutely loves agriculture. She mostly enjoys working with poultry farmers and being on farm working with the animals and making a positive difference to the farm businesses she works with. Gwenda wants to help where she can and help people to get the best results that they can, to achieve the best possible outcomes. Gwenda has worked with free range laying hens since she was 17 and is a very proud mum of two lovely children who definitely try to keep her on her toes. If Gwenda manages any spare time at all, she loves to go to the coast, walking and spending as much time outside as she can!
David Hope

David grew up on a family farm in Oxfordshire where he developed his interest in poultry. Since leaving Harper Adams in 2007 David has worked in the sector and joined Crediton Milling in August 2023. David enjoys working closely with farmers to get the best out of their flocks and support wherever he can. He particularly enjoys problem solving and helping find solutions and improvements that help the farm business.

David has a broad knowledge of the agricultural industry and has worked in various roles but more latterly as contract support manager to a national egg packer. Dave is a farmer in his own right and loves nothing more than spending time with his beef cattle and sheep. Dave takes an active interest in a wide variety of farming businesses and is never afraid to lend a hand or offer advice.

Mark Tucker

Mark has extensive knowledge in forage production and quality. He is fully focused on tailoring his advice to individual farms and creating a bespoke, specific plan based on the needs of each farming enterprise. This enables him to maximise potential from the farm. He employs a back-to-basics theory; in which he removes the potential pitfalls, and tries to improve grassland management systems to increase production of home-grown forages.

Beth Kent

Kyrin is part of the Ruminant Focus Team which provides high quality support to our sales team by carrying out a diverse range of technical services on farm such as locomotion scoring, body condition scoring, Interherd reports and costings. Kyrin is extremely practical and very competent in and around cows.
Caitlin Pople

Caitlin is a dairy farmer’s daughter and youngstock rearer that joined CMC in the Summer of 2023. Caitlin brings with her a wide knowledge of the agricultural industry and has worked as a Head Veterinary Nurse in a small animal practice in Devon. In Caitlin’s spare time, she loves walking her dogs in the countryside and spending time with family and friends.

Team Leaders
Mark Gulley

Mark is our Managing Director and looks after all our raw material buying and knows every inch of Fordton Mills inside and out.
He is a massive rugby fan and enjoys supporting Crediton RFC and watching his boys playing for their respective teams.
Andrew Power

Andrew is the lead for sales. He didn’t start out in agriculture – in fact, he stumbled into the business after marrying the boss’ daughter. However, with 20 years worth of help from an array of skilled, dedicated and enthusiastic teams, he has learnt a little and loves his work.
Stephen Gulley

Steve heads up our transport department and is always calm under pressure. In his spare time you'll find him supporting his children’s sporting events or paddle boarding in Cornwall.
Scott Brimilcombe

Scott oversees all CMC operations. He’s a keen runner and loves playing, coaching, and watching football.
Darren Hughes

Darren is responsible for the day-to-day running of the mill. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and young children.
