Phil joined Crediton Milling in 2010, following a successful career as a herd manager and a smooth transition into the feed industry. With decades of hands-on experience, Phil brings deep-rooted knowledge of dairy farming and an exceptional understanding of farms across the Southwest — he’s rarely seen needing a map.

Phil is passionate about working with family-run farms and values the opportunity to support multiple generations in building sustainable, productive businesses. His approach is grounded in practical knowledge, personal service, and a strong commitment to helping farmers achieve long-term success values that align closely with the ethos of CMC.

Farmers appreciate Phil’s down-to-earth nature, trusted advice, and genuine interest in their business. Whether it’s formulating effective rations or discussing wider herd management, he always brings a practical, results-driven mindset.

Outside of work, Phil is a loyal (and long-suffering) Tottenham Hotspur supporter so Mondays can be tough during the season! He also enjoys a good day at Cheltenham races.
